As Gibson's first solidbody electric guitar, the Les Paul Standard made a lasting impression when it debuted in 1952, and it continues to shape the sounds of popular music today.

It's all about TONE and with TONE CHAMBERING, IT REALLY DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER... This guitar has a CHAMBERED Mahogany body and a Carved AAA maple top and she weighs 7 lbs. 15 ozs. She's light, light on your back and extremely resonant! PLUS! This guitar has a VINTAGE Gibson "T Top" Humbucker in the Bridge and the original Burstbucker in the neck. This really gives the guitar that FAT WARM WOODY WELL BALLANCED TONE WITH A LITTLE BIT OF GRIT AND SWEET SUSTAIN! This guitar also has "factory installed" Grover Tuners instead of the "keystone" tuners. ALL MODS WERE DONE IN THE GIBSON FACTORY and the receipts are included!

The flame maple top on this guitar is outta this world! This is the good wood, we're talking about...The wood that is so rare and so sought after for it's sweet soulful sound and beauty! This guitar is a beauty too and the Heritage Cherry finish is the final touch of perfection! This guitar has the smaller, vintage style headstock, and a "slim," 60's style neck. The thickness of the neck measures .817 at the first fret and .889 at the 12th. She's fast and feels great in your hand!
